Living in gratitude yoga retreat

Living in gratitude yoga retreat

Join us on this 7-day journey that you will never forget.

From magnificent mountains to rugged cliffs, rice plantations and long black sand beaches, it’s no surprise Bali is known as the island of the Gods. There is a sacred and spiritual atmosphere in the Balinese land from sunrise, when local women spiritually greet the new day, right through until sunset.

Retreats are periods spent away from your everyday life. They offer time and space to do something different. More than a holiday, a yoga retreat adds a blend of physical movement, focused breathing, reflection, meditation and lots more, all of which create a more aware and connected self.

Your days will be filled with activities, as well as having free time to just hang by the pool, go exploring, shopping, and enjoy extra spa treatments too. Explore both Canggu, where you can enjoy the Balinese beaches and maybe learn to surf, and Ubud, the yoga capital of Bali with all it has to offer. It is without doubt that Bali has it all – the culture and people, beautiful locations, amazing cuisine, great spas, and world-class healers.

During this retreat you’ll explore the deep and nourishing qualities of gratitude and joy of what is. Being happy is about acknowledging our gratitude for what we have at that moment, for what we have done, for every success we have achieved. We will also offer you lots of tools to connect to your uniqueness, your purpose and what really drives you and lights you up.

You are here, on this earth, for a very specific reason. You were created with intention and have a purpose in life that is entirely unique to you. The difference between simply existing and truly living a life of passion and intent is having clarity on our purpose and understanding, on a deep level, how to flow with the universe instead of against it.

Now is the time for you to take the next step of your journey and break through the limitations that are holding you back from living the life you are meant for…

Kriya Yoga – 4 Week Introduction Course

Ashram Kriyas

Introduction to Kriya Yoga: 4-Week Course running every Wednesday night from 19th June – 10th July, 7-8.30pm)

This introductory course, designed by the late Swami Shantimurti Saraswati, is intended for anyone who wants to develop themselves yogically. It will allow you to refine your knowledge and understanding of your own yoga practice, as well as cultivate and deepen your energetic experience.

What are the Kriyas?

Kriyas are yogic techniques for awakening and understanding energy. They develop our perception of subtle energies: chakras (energy centres) and nadis (energy pathways) creating deeper levels of perception and understanding of one’s Self.

This introductory course, designed by the late Swami Shantimurti Saraswati, is intended for anyone who wants to develop themselves yogically. It will allow you to refine your knowledge and understanding of your own yoga practice, as well as cultivate and deepen your energetic experience.

Kriya Yoga is an opportunity to become more aware of the esoteric side of yoga. Preparing you for more advanced traditional yogic practices by harnessing and working with Kundalini energy.

This course has been constructed to give those curious about energy a taste and experience, as well as offer an opportunity to prepare aspirants for the one-week Kriya Yoga Retreat. For those who have previously preformed kriyas, this shall be an opportunity to reconnect with your more subtle energetic aspects and give you tools to work with and develop your emotional and psychological condition in daily life.

This course is appropriate for those who have been practicing general yoga for some time, have a basic idea of chakras and understanding of pranayama practices. It is for those with a curiosity to dive deeper within themselves!

The group environment sustains the participants’ focus on technique whilst supporting the individual to get deeper into their experience.

For yoga teachers, this is invaluable up-skilling opportunity to put you in tune with subtle energies from the experiential perspective, as well as develop awareness and deepen perception. You will learn tools to develop understanding of your own energy, as well as relate to that of others.
