A morning of meditation exploration with Wendy Vermeulen

Meditation

A morning of meditation exploration

Our meditation community has been steadily growing and we are really feeling a sense of connection and expansion. As we begin to delve deeper, our small sessions together at times feel too short, and we often wish we could linger in that state of meditation for longer or go deeper into our expanded awareness. Offering this opportunity of further expansion we are holding space for a morning of meditation exploration at Pranabar.

What to expect:
Start your day bright and early with a Dr Joe inspired pineal gland meditation. We will begin at 5.30am, this time of day supports a deeper connection as we are still influenced by the melatonin production of our sleep state. After a light breakfast break, the day commences from 8:00am with two 50 minute sits, these are lightly guided meditations. The encouragement is for your own alignment and focus. We will complete our session with a restorative Yoga Nidra session to solidify your morning practice.

Why join us for a morning of meditation exploration?
It is not always possible to take a week or 10 days out of our lives to attend a retreat and connect through meditation. This short but profound morning session will give a taste of an extended retreat and offer tools in times of uncertainty.

You are welcome to attend from 8:00am if you do not wish to partake in the pineal gland meditation.

This offering is by donation as it is my offering to our global connected community.

It is truly time for change. Time to show up to ourselves and arm ourselves with tools of resilience.

Living Consciously – Online Mini Retreat

Our online mini retreats were a huge success during the lock down. It is such a unique opportunity to come together and share a connecting experience with a community of likeminded people – all while in the comfort of your own home. No travel time or parking woes!

At a time of uncertainty, a time when anxiety can be high, and when we are questioning so much. It is vital to have tools to navigate change. Tools to maintain equilibrium and balance, to trust and know where ‘we’ are in all the chaos.

The Living Consciously Online Mini Retreat will offer these tools. With a deeply connecting Yoga practice and meditation session, a workshop offering key tools and an opportunity to discuss and share, closing with a deeply aligning Yoga Nidra practice. This mini retreat will be the perfect antidote for times of stress and unrest.

Online Yoga Study

Online Yoga Study

After many years of teaching, owning and operating her own studio, mentoring and facilitating events, Wendy Vermeulen (Swami Sankalpananda) has developed the Online Yoga Study course. This 6 week course has been designed to further your understanding of yoga both of a physical and mental and esoteric level.

During our sessions, we will discuss the anatomy of the body and how that relates to your postures. We will examine some of the key postures of yoga, why we do them, correct movement and possible modifications you could make if needed. Each week we look at a pranayama (breathing) practice and discuss benefits and ‘how to’s’ We will also cover an introduction to meditation with ancient and simple practices to apply.

You will finish this 6 week Online Yoga Study course with a deeper understanding of yoga. Allowing you to have a solid personal practice to work with, and if you are considering doing a teacher training program, this course is a great ‘prequel’ to give you the advantage of a sound base knowledge of true yoga.

Who is this course for?

Living in gratitude yoga retreat

Living in gratitude yoga retreat

Join us on this 7-day journey that you will never forget.

From magnificent mountains to rugged cliffs, rice plantations and long black sand beaches, it’s no surprise Bali is known as the island of the Gods. There is a sacred and spiritual atmosphere in the Balinese land from sunrise, when local women spiritually greet the new day, right through until sunset.

Retreats are periods spent away from your everyday life. They offer time and space to do something different. More than a holiday, a yoga retreat adds a blend of physical movement, focused breathing, reflection, meditation and lots more, all of which create a more aware and connected self.

Your days will be filled with activities, as well as having free time to just hang by the pool, go exploring, shopping, and enjoy extra spa treatments too. Explore both Canggu, where you can enjoy the Balinese beaches and maybe learn to surf, and Ubud, the yoga capital of Bali with all it has to offer. It is without doubt that Bali has it all – the culture and people, beautiful locations, amazing cuisine, great spas, and world-class healers.

During this retreat you’ll explore the deep and nourishing qualities of gratitude and joy of what is. Being happy is about acknowledging our gratitude for what we have at that moment, for what we have done, for every success we have achieved. We will also offer you lots of tools to connect to your uniqueness, your purpose and what really drives you and lights you up.

You are here, on this earth, for a very specific reason. You were created with intention and have a purpose in life that is entirely unique to you. The difference between simply existing and truly living a life of passion and intent is having clarity on our purpose and understanding, on a deep level, how to flow with the universe instead of against it.

Now is the time for you to take the next step of your journey and break through the limitations that are holding you back from living the life you are meant for…
